Corruption runs rampant throughout the Military Police and Garrison, and yet no one does a thing to stop it, instead many work to take advantage of the corruption to gain higher spots within the ranks of either Regiment. Work has been attempted to block the walls of Maria, and Shiganshina has been reclaimed in some sense, though there is a struggle to keep more Titans away from said District. Unbeknownst to the people of Paradis, the Marleyan Military had already infiltrated the land they called home. They took advantage of the lack of knowledge some people within the Walls held in regards to their Island, and sent a group of their best spies to take part in their ways of life - Joining the Military Regiments, living within the Walls, killing Titans - If it has been named, many of these unknown spies likely took part, and have yet to reveal themselves.
