Nestled deep in a valley, in the heart of the bible belt, sat a strange little town by the name of Hatchetfield. Wasn’t marked down on most maps. No highway in or out of town; it's only reachable by train, or by the muddy dirt roads choked with brambles and potholes. There wasn’t much to do, or much to look at, neither, but its humble inhabitants called it home. The crown jewel of the town was the local university. Most if not all of the town's youth went to BUU - not that they had much choice. The next closest school was a good six hours away, and not nearly worth the train fare it’d take to get there. No one really bothered to skip town, finding it too much of a hassle to start over somewhere else. Besides...Hatchetfield was dreadfully haunted. Locals say if you try to leave, spirits leap out of their grave and drag you kicking and screaming back to town. Obviously these were just stupid ghost stories, attempts by the old guard to scare their grandkids into sticking around...but what if they weren't? Hatchetfield is full of mysterious legends and lore waiting to be explored, and BUU's very own Paranormal Club thinks they're up to the task.
