A rogue government official made deals with the Russian navy,deals that he simply could not hold. When the Russian government found out they were furious. With threats from the Russian government,and American refusal each side has been carefully prepping secret weapons. In this world the next weapon wasn't going to be a bomb or some sort of chemical. The next weapon was going to be more biological. Weapons that have been known for a long time in this world, known as myths,known as viruses, known as blessings. These are Grievances,special abilities that have been awakened in individuals by negative experiences. The perfect weapon for covert operations. However despite their abilities most of them are emotionally unfit for battle. They are often depressed, scarred,weak, or criminally insane. In only a few months the Grievance draft will begin,starting in California, your home state. But of course do you really want to fight for your country?
