As the Geth-Quarian conflict ended in peace, many of The Geth joined to help Quarians. Despite that, the distrust for The Geth is still strong among the Quarians. Other races have suffered large losses and are left to rebuild. Many of the capital planets lay in ruins, making rebuilding the priority. The Krogan however, enjoyed the gift of the Genophage cure, yet the reproduction quotas were set, to not allow the population to spike out of control.
