There are no language restrictions here, and everyone is welcome to join us! Curious about Tupian (Macro-Tupi) languages? Originating around the Madeira River in the Southern Amazon, this language family is the most widespread in South America, with around 74 languages split into several branches. Paraguayan Guarani is the most famous and spoken language with 6.5 million speakers, and Old Tupi, a well-attested language, is the source of many words borrowed into European languages.
